After moving to Germany from Ukraine due to war, my nails became weak, my hair is dry and frizzy, skin is pale and dry, muscles are weak too, .Maybe it’s because of stress or lack of vitamins or climate change idk. I don’t exercise that much today but I try to it healthy. What should I do? Sorry for my English

Why am I being charged for my own medical record?
I have been seeing a very prominent ophthalmologist in my City for a few years dating back to when I was active duty. I was diagnosed with Keratoconus and was able to start seeing him instead of an on-base doctor. Long story short I am now out of the military and trying to get my disability paperwork in order. I called his office to see what the process of getting my record would be.
They can either fax it, mail it, or I can pick it up in person for the cost of $1 per page(single sided). I also asked for a summary letter which would run me an extra 10-15 and I can understand that, they are taking time out of their day.
I asked them to email me a digital copy of my record and they said they don't have a secure server to email it, but they have emails...I said I didn't mind and I'd sign the page giving you permission to send it to my Gmail. They wouldn't budge.
This seems ludicrous! I know I know "it's just a dollar" but it's a bigger picture. This Dr has made so much money off of my procedures & visits both when I was in and when I got out.
Is a dollar too high? I expected 25 cents. I'm going to pay it either way because I have no choice but I needed to vent 😂
And again! I know people have bigger problems but this really irritated me considering I just spent a week arguing with them about charging me for a procedure they never did and they wanted me to provide proof they didn't do it -_-
Can someone list any mandated examples of primary care after hours call service?
I’m trying to find out why primary care has after hours call services. Is it monetary incentives? Is it certification requirements such as PCMH, ACO, etc?
Low body fat (abs, veins on arms) but very PUFFY AND SWOLLEN FACE.
Hi (boy, 16 years)
I have been struggling with my "swollen and fat face" for a really long time. I have a really low percentage of body fat (abdominal muscles, veins on my arms), I drink 6-7 liters of water a day so I'm very good hydrated. In the morning I use ice on my face but it only helps temporarily. Why am I not exaggerating? My face looks much thicker than my friend who has 25% body fat. I don't go out to people because I'm ashamed of what my face looks like, BUT THERE IS ONE IMPORTANT ISSUE THAT MAY MATTER.
- After strength training, my face looks really normal - just like I would like it to look. Comparing the photos before and after training, I look completely different - the face becomes so flat and not swollen. - of course, the next day in the morning everything returns to normal; (What can this mean? What happens during such training that this face becomes normal? And how to always look like this? I think it could be crucial in finding a solution. .....
What has caused us to be so desensitized when it comes to patients who are dying? I think yesterday has taught me a lesson.
