I am Canadian and hoping to relocate to the US for grad school and subsequent career change. I would like to settle down there as well (aiming for TX, FL or IL).
I am hoping to move within the next 2 years. As someone with a chronic autoimmune illness, I am kind of worried as I know healthcare is privatized and pricy.
What should I do to prepare for moving?
What do I need to know and consider?
Is the system really as bad as they say?
