[Question - Other] On distorted vaccine policy

Been trying to find where I can get a vaccine shot, close to where I live here in Texas, since I have to get there on my bike. I'm 72, so I fit the elder age group. Found a spreadsheet for TX from some state agency, with tiny tiny TINY print on it, but found a place in the town where I buy my groceries. I called them, but it turns out I HAVE TO BE A PATIENT AT THEIR PLACE!!! These vaccines are distributed by the government, paid for by them, to be given free to the public--but in this case you have to signed up as a patient at a specific location. So, what to do?
