[Question - Other] Possible to take a year off work as an NP?

I was trying to convince a friend of mine to take a year off the hamster wheel with me. She is concerned about regaining employment after the year or so is up. Is that a concern, or are NPs in such demand that it wouldn’t be too hard? This is in Florida.
