Bronze for 25 single male?

I just signed up on coveredca.com as a single 25 year old college student with no job and got bronze. Is this normal? As of right now I currently have insurance through my parents. Could I stay on my kaiser permanete plan once I get my "BIC"? I have no dependents and live in Southern California.
