I was on Medi-Cal when I requested referral for a small outpatient surgery. I was approved to see a specialist who then approved me for a surgery. My surgery is scheduled for mid Sept. 2024.
However, due to a series of events, my medi-cal coverage has ended Aug 31, 2024.
Will the cost of this surgery still be covered (under Medi-Cal)?
I have since signed up and paid for covered California medical coverage, but it's a different provider.
