Physchian Assistant

Hey everyone, I'm an 18 year old in Virginia who is interested in becoming a physchian assistant. It has a solid salary and doesn't take as long as becoming a doctor. From my research, I understand that you need a certain amount of hours as a requirement to get into a PA program. Are we allowed to get those hours while in undergrad or do you need to get them after you graduate from undergrad? Thanks.
