I went to a birth control clinic today. I asked for Slynd, but found out Tricare doesn't cover it. Apparently I am not a good candidate for combined pills because of my history of migraines. The only pill I was able to get was a mini pill, but I was told by the NP that this can cause irregular bleeding. I already had irregular bleeding on a combined pill (I got it prescribed earlier despite my history of migraines) which was the reason I got prescribed Slynd in the end and I was doing great on it. I also have a suspicion of endometriosis but it's not confirmed and I don't wanna get a laparoscopy yet. Is there any way I can try to get Slynd covered by Tricare? This pill worked great for me. So if it turns out the mini pill I just got prescribed doesn't work good for me, I'll be out of options (can't have an IUD either because my body has rejected it twice in the past).
