It's a complicated story so I'll try to make it as short as possible:
I was going to a community mental health center for depression meds and after being on some I realized that ADHD was my main issue and am now trying to treat it also. However because I was honest about my previous substance abuse during intake they have refused to prescribe me any ADHD meds.
Therefore I am now about to see a new doctor and I can't decide on whether or not I should try and get him to continue my meds from the community health center as I'm scared that in doing so he will either request medical records from that facility which would have substance abuse in them OR he would somehow find out through the pharmacy or something.
So I'm considering either dropping the depression meds all together or continuing to get them from the community health center instead of asking the new doctor to continue them. Would that be a bad idea? Will he somehow find out that I was receiving depression meds from another doctor?
Idk what to do...please help.
