Where are my healthcare records stored?

Back in the day when my father retired from the military we were given our healthcare records. A huge folder for each family member. When we arrived at the city we moved to they were given to our healthcare provider at the time. I have since moved away from that city and no longer to go that clinic. I see that they have closed since I moved away. Where would my records have gone in this situation?
