Rhogam not covered by Insurance

My pregnant wife is RH -ve and I am RH +ve. The OB wants us to take a Rhogam shot but our insurance doesn’t cover it as a prescription benefit. If the OB were to administer the shot directly it’ll be covered under medical benefit. Now, our OB doesn’t stock the medicine so I am not sure how to proceed here. Any guidance will be appreciated. Thank you.
