Employer moving to tiered “cost-sharing” based on salary.

My employer announced our 2024 benefits as a tiered “cost-sharing” structure where the more money you make, the more you contribute each month for coverage. The coverage is the same no matter what salary tier your in, the cost for the employee is different.

Is this legal? For context, I live in California.
