I have Iowa Amerigroup/medicaid.
Literally all they have on file are two prescriptions I picked up since June 8th. I've had this same insurance since 2019. In the time I've had my insurance I've used at least one pharmacy and three medical supply companies that were paid through my insurance.
I contacted a pharmacy I used several months ago and they were paid for my prescriptions. I haven't had issues with getting my medication or supplies until recently. I get ostomy supplies monthly. I used to be able to get 3 bottles of deodorizer a month, but at the beginning of this year, it dropped to one.
I got an email that my monthly bottle was over limit this month, which doesn't make any sense, so I called the supply company. They said that the insurance denied it, so I called the insurance... Even though they've been paying for everything over these years, they claim they don't even cover prescriptions that come by mail and that the supply company must be covering the costs themselves... No way are they sending me over $1,500 worth of supplies every month for free.
About a month ago I called my insurance with another issue and the woman looked up my account on two different programs and they had absolutely no information of me on either.
Is it even possible for them to have completely cleared everything on my account? How the hell am I still even able to get supplies if they're acting like they're not being billed?
