My MIL is visiting for 3 weeks. She lives in another country and was on a plane for about 15 hours. After she arrived, the next day she complained about pain in her legs. We took her to the ER thinking it could be a DVT.
She does not have health insurance as she is just visiting. Who is responsible to pay for this bill? I’m afraid my husband and I will be responsible for this bill. I know the cost will be outrageous. Can someone please help me in understanding how exactly this works.
