My employer-provided insurance is Humana. Should I pay out of pocket for something better?

I pulled a muscle either in my hip or glutes last week. I'm improving on a daily basis, but I'm looking around for In-Network Humana Orthopedics/sports doctors and finding NONE in my area. Upon checking reviews of Humana, I find that doctors will turn away Humana patients in some cases because of how little they pay. Some people have said they've ended up with the entirety of the bill due to Humana nitpicking and making every excuse not to pay. It almost seems I'd be better off buying my own insurance out of pocket, from what I've seen.
