Moved out of state, no insurance, need medications refilled

I hope this is the right place to post my question.

At the end of 2022, I turned 26. For most of my 25th year, I was living in the same state as my parents, so I had health insurance through my parents' Kaiser marketplace plan. A bit before I turned 26 I moved out of state (to California). My current employer doesn’t offer health insurance, so I am uninsured right now and looking for the right plan.

I take two medications that were prescribed by my doctor at Kaiser before I moved out of state, and it says on the bottles that I have two remaining refills on both of my meds. Would I be able to go to a pharmacy like CVS or Walgreens and show them the refills remaining on my bottles and get them filled? Or is it more complicated, and you need a new doctor to prescribe them again? Or do they only allow insured people to get refills? I would be using GoodRx coupons. Any help is appreciated. The health insurance system is very new and confusing to me. Thanks!
