Getting Endocrinologist Appointment Sooner

My doctor referred me to an endocrinologist. The soonest appointment I could get with anyone in the hospital system was not until mid July. I can't wait that long. I need to see someone sooner. How can I get to an endocrinologist sooner in the United States? It's important enough that I don't care about my insurance being accepted or the cost. I can't wait 4 months. Where can you go or who do you pay to get treatment?
