I live in a smallish town (about 100k population) annd we have one hospital with an understaffed ER. There are at least four “Doc in the Box” businesses located here. They list themselves as Walk-In Urgent Care. Their websites don’t publish owners/executives/advisors or anything other than their services, hours, location, and phone number although one listed prices and care providers.
I have health insurance and have never needed one of these places. Have any of you needed to go to one of these? Did you have a good experience? Also who owns these companies?
