Is there a comprehensive course on how to make the most of the healthcare system and how it works?

I didn't go to the doctor as a child or teen, and didn't really start going until a couple years ago when I got diagnosed with a bunch of stuff after visits to the ER. Every time I try to make appointments or try to get my ailments addressed, it feels like a labyrinthine nightmare and everyone is talking to me like I'm stupid. I'm really tired of getting bounced around, calling, calling, calling, referrals never coming in, things moving so incredibly slow. It seems like all these people don't really care, like why did I even try to go to the doctor anyway if I have to do all of this by myself with no explanation or help. Where the heck is my money going?

Basically, I'm sick of being bounced around, about always wondering why I'm being treated so badly or when/how/what is going on with the doctor's office. I guess there is something wrong with me, like maybe I don't know how any of this works, and maybe if I learn how it works I'll have a better time. Wont make the doctor's less cold but whatever. Is there a comprehensive course or website I can visit about how to effectively interact with the doctor's office in the US?
