Why are my thighs hurting when I lightly tap them?

Sometimes my boyfriend taps my thighs and it actually really hurts and I don’t know why. Other than that my thighs are fine, and I even looked it up but there’s nothing on the Internet that describes that symptom so can anyone tell me if they have this too and if it’s some kind of medical condition?
