Like the title says can I just go straight to a dermatologist to get a screening of a mole on my body to get it removed. I have a PPO so I don't think I need a referral from a Primary Care Provider right?
I went on my health insurance app and the app provided a list of in network dermatologist. Can I just contact one of them and ask for a mole screening? Or do I have to go through a Primary Care Provider first even with PPO?
