I think I have a herpes outbreak, but my results came out negative. What should I do?

A week ago I noticed these weird bumps around my genital area, I went to the clinic that same day. They did a PCR test/ a blood test which came out negative for herpes. Should I get rested right away? Or just wait a few weeks or so?
