Signing up for Medicaid in California without permanent address?

I will be moving to CA in a few weeks but I won’t be able to enroll in the health insurance provided by my new job until November. I want to be proactive and sign up for CA Medicaid in the interim, but am unsure if it is appropriate to list the address of my rental apartment before I move in. Any advice? Thank you!
