Nine days ago my now-previous specialty pharmacy called, to inform me that due to a change in terms and conditions, they would no longer be able to fill my prescriptions.
I was being moved to OptumRx, right before my monthly refill. No stress, right?
Since then, I’ve been thru four customer service reps trying to get my co-pay card info transferred, the web services team, a pharmacist, waited five+ hours on hold, had an employee impersonate me to actually activate my online portal account and found out they don’t have online payment processing.
There’s more, but the preceding should be more than enough to give an indication of the trepidation and distrust I am experiencing with this company who will now be handling my critical medications.
Fucking American “health care”. smh
