I worked in an an office/receptionist role for a medical conglomerate. Before firing me, my ex-boss ordered me to to take actions that harmed multiple patients by delaying care. These processes were also in direct opposition to the requests I received from the doctors we supposedly served. Through conversations with former coworkers, I learned that she has also terminated others with more experience in the past who did not fall in line with her policies.
This isn’t about getting revenge or getting my job back (I don’t want it). I just want to notify someone higher up in the chain of command that they have someone in charge who is harming patients and potentially violating company policy.
Is there any way I can do this in a constructive manner? I have contacts inside the company still who may be able to assist. I have never worked for such an organization before and am at a loss as to where to go.
