So, my current partner is pregnant. Her current plan is a bit low-cost in the front end but after some info we found out the total of the pre-natal care would come up to around $7,500.00 out of own pocket.
Thankfully, we can switch plans due to the special window. So there’s two plans we are eyeballing. These are:
Plan 1: Premium: $61.81 Deductible: $675 individual / $1,350 family. OOP Max: $675 individual / $1,350 family. Coinsurance: N/A.
Plan 2: Premium: $64.00 Deductible: $0 OOP Max: $1,075 individual / $2,150 family. Coinsurance: mostly 25% on services.
Obviously, we want to save some money but the most important thing is to have my partner and baby covered.
Any help in this matter will be appreciated.
