[Question - Insurance] what if my partner and I both get family healthcare?

We are moving to the USA so don't fully understand the system. But my husband has great health insurance which also includes me. Now I have found a job in the USA and they offer healthcare for me. What is the process here? Double insurance? Getting it paid out? Simply decline it? Thanks!!
