A bit of a background. I have technical background - did PhD in Physics and was a software developer, and recently I co founded a startup that had nothing to do with healthcare but did many things with computer vision (AI). I’m phasing out of the current startup and thinking what I should do next. I always had some affiliation and interest in healthcare, my sister is a Gastroenterologist, and I have been following a bit on trends in AI and healthcare. I’m interested to know if people had similar experiences and how they got into the field. I’m less interested in a technical role and more in a role where I can learn of problems and challenges in the field where innovation could be helpful (and of course a viable business).
