[Question - Other] Is it worth it to get a degree in nuclear medicine?

So I was randomly looking at requirements to becoming a diagnostic sonographer when I stumbled across a school offering a B.S in nuclear medicine. I don’t know much about it but from what I’ve read nuclear medicine relates to diagnosing, evaluating and treating diseases using radioactive materials. It later became something I’m interested in but I wanted to see if there really is a demand in it and if it’s worth going into as opposed to diagnostic sonography. I just wanted to see people’s perspective on it and if it’s something someone working in healthcare would recommend. I really appreciate you guys taking the time to read this!
