[Other] Who can administer and diagnose using the DSM-5

I'm seeing a private medical professional whose business card reads RN, BSN, LMSW, and CAADC listed. With these listed are they able to diagnose using the DSM-5 specifically adhd. This particular person is used by most of my family but since I'm out of state we have therapy over Skype and overall I think our sessions really do help even though we're just starting. I want to find a doctor in my state who can treat me effectively. Would a doctor agree with his findings or refer me to someone else. I want to be taken seriously and approach this as best as I can. If unknown do you know where I could find the answer without embarrassing myself to a doctor?
