[Question - Other] Patient Representative role is sucking the soul out of me. Been 1 year in this position out of college and don’t know what to do next due to entry-level positions requiring 2+ years of experience.

I work in family medicine as a patient representative. Essentially, I take incoming calls from patients and do miscellaneous tasks for our providers. I have a degree in Public Health: health management and policy.

I don’t know what route to go, and am aiming towards admin. But entry level admin roles require 2-4 years of experience anyways. As the title states, I’m burnt out after 1 year. Any idea on what’s next for an individual in my role/degree.

Job searching has been no bueno. Might just have to get a master’s in order to progress further.
