I recently decided that I have wanted to start working towards using natural products, even making some of them myself. I started using a shampoo bar based off a recommendation I saw in this sub and am loving it, and am hoping to get the rest of my hair care routine down using all natural products.
Once I do that I think I will feel confident moving onto other things. One that I really would like to make work is deodorant because of the aluminum in antiperspirant. A few years ago I tried the Native brand, and it felt good, smelled amazing, and kept me from smelling all day when I wore it. Odor wise, it is the best deodorant I have used. The reason I stopped using it though, is that I sweat BAD. Although I didn't smell, I ended up getting nasty armpit stains on almost all of my shirts over the course of the stick I used. The stains permanently discolored the clothes and made the material feel dirty, like sweat build up was in it, no matter how many washes it had.
Is there a way to avoid this? I get that without the antiperspirant aspect there will be some sweating, but I really, really don't want to have nasty pit stains in all of my shirts either.
