A few months ago, I broke my knee and went to the doctor for it. Doctor confirmed the fracture and prescribed a knee brace and told me they would be able to provide one there. I asked for the price of it, they told me they were not sure about the price. Since I was in pain, I said ok, and gor the brace. The provider charged $750 to my insurance and my insurance negotiated down to $450. Since I have high deductible plan, I am expected to pay for it. I checked online and the same brace (by the same company, same model etc.) is retailed for $150. I emailed the provider and they told me they would not help out. Is there anything I can do to reduce the bill? Location: California, USA
