Ingredients:
Witch Hazel, Rose Water, Lavender Essential Oil *optional, Tea Tree Essential Oil *optional, Small Spray Bottle
For this recipe, begin by filling your container 3 quarters of the way with rose water and then the remaining space with witch hazel. Rose water can be hard to find and the best place to get it is usually at an ethnic store. I picked up mine at a local indian store. When buying rose water, be sure to check the ingredients on the back as some brands add in unnecessary preservatives and chemicals and make sure that the only ingredients are rose petals and purified water. Rose water is very calming for the skin, while witch hazel relieves inflammation and skin irritation.
Then add in a few drops each of lavender essential oil and tea tree essential oil if you would like. Both of these oils have their own unique properties that can benefit your skin. Once you’ve added in all of these ingredients, cap your bottle and give it a good shake to mix everything. Your rose toner is ready to use!
