[Question - Other] Burnt plastic smell and risks

Hi. Yesterday a small part of plastic in my parents' car door burnt. I didn't inhale any smoke in that moment because I was not there, but about an hour I got in the car and the smell was everywhere and stuck to my clothes. This morning I got in the car and the smell was still there, even though we left the windows open. What should we do? Is this risky for cancer?
