Health Science Bachelor's Degree Graduates: What Did You Do After Graduation?
I'm graduating with a Bachelor's in Health Science at the end of this semester, and I'm curious to hear about the paths that others have taken with this degree. Specifically, for those of you who didn't pursue further schooling or additional healthcare programs, what career paths did you explore?
My current aspiration is to become an X-ray tech. However, I'm open to exploring other industries or job opportunities that align with just a bachelor's in health science. I'd greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions you might have in this regard.

Is this normal for a primary care office?
For context: I moved to a new state and obviously had to find a new primary care provider. I had a new patient appointment with this doctor, and I had an awful experience with her. She wouldn’t even let me get a word in to talk about my medical history and my concerns, among other things. I decided I wanted to see a different provider that would actually listen to me and connect a little bit better with me. I figured I could just switch to a different provider in their practice, so I set up an appointment with a different person. I ended up getting a call from their practice saying if I was already established with a provider, I HAVE to stay with them, and they cancelled my appointment. I cannot be seen by another provider in their practice. If I want to switch and be seen by another provider, I have to leave the practice.
So, my question is: is this policy normal? I only had one appointment with the other provider but now I’m stuck with her forever (unless I leave the practice)
It was already hard enough to find a practice that was in network with my insurance, I don’t want to be forced to switch practices.
BAY AREA CA. Which Health Care Network Should I Choose?
I just switched health insurance from Kaiser to a HDHP. I'm trying to decide on my new network and I'm between UCSF, Stanford Tri-Valley, and John Muir.
I would love to hear about your experience with any of these three networks to help with my decision. I know billing will be different than Kaiser and I will deal with a billing issue over inadequate care.

Creepy / slightly dystopian experience at HCA urgent care today
I went to an HCA urgent care today.
They were playing the same bizarre 30-second song on a loop. It was awful to listen to
I finally asked them to change it, and they changed it to a weird movie with profane rap songs and creepy voiceovers that said things like ‘have you ever wondered why we were put on this planet?’
WTFFFF
Why would they think this is ok or a good patient experience at all

Aren't Statins $0 Copay for those 40-75 years old?
I see online that according to affordable care act that statins are $0 copay. However, when we tried to fill at the pharmacy, there was a co-pay. Anyone know how we can get these with $0 copay? Mom is 60+.
We had Aetna before and it was free but now I have Anthem and it's not for some reason.

Hello all, I am about to pick a plan with Concordia Healthcare ( dental) in the US. I am wondering if there are any members here that could tell me a bit more about their plan? Because I'm supposed to pick one of their plans but I'm kinda uninformed at the moment, and would appreciate some experienced advice.
I'm deciding between Acces and Select plan?
Any help would be very welcome.
