How are doctors in the emergency room unable to tell if an arm is broken from the x-rays?

My mom was in a car accident and obviously she was taken to the emergency room. Her arms hurt and they took x-rays. They gave her the results, said nothing was broken. She asked them to double-check however they can because her friend had broken her arm, was told it wasn’t broken, and then later found out from another doctor/hospital it was in fact broken. They did not.

Now 2 and a half weeks later, she’s told from her orthopedic that her arm was broken. Can a professional explains why this happens?

Healthcaregov no premium credit?

Something isn’t making sense. I’ve tried multiple ages and incomes, and it keeps saying not eligible for a tax credit.

An example I put in:

1 household member 30, Female “Select any of these that apply to you” none $10,000 income

I tried changing the age, income, and household, and still not eligible.

I swear I tried this in September and there was a fair credit available. I thought the marketplace worked on a sliding scale with income, so this doesn’t make sense to me. Can anyone explain?

What do you do when you don’t qualify for medicaid and also don’t qualify for a credit with healthcare.gov? Private plans? Find a part-time job with a chain that provides benefits?

Go on my zero-cost HDHP for the free HSA $ while also on my spouse’s plan?

Is it fraudulent to be on two plans at once to receive $600 of free HSA money? My company provides a $0 premium HDHP and contributes $600 toward my HSA. However, I want to be on my spouse's HDHP because the deductibles/OOP max is better. Their company would contribute $1200 to HSA for me to be on their plan. I just would not ever use my company's insurance card when I use healthcare. Is there anything illegal about this? Or is it just shitty? Seems dumb to not take free money.

What causes a Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde situation with a Health Care Provider

I went to the Urgent Care today to see about a head injury I sustained at work. A nurse practitioner saw me and she was so kind as she spoke to me and examined me initially. When she left she said she was going to put in an order for me to have a CT scan. She was gone for a long time and when she returned she was like a different person. She was incredibly rude and spoke loudly and aggressively to me as I asked questions calmly, in a soft voice. She left saying one thing and returns saying I would need to go to the ER if I think I need a CT. She then abruptly walks away from me, and it was as if I needed to get out right away or else I was trespassing. I left with unanswered questions and concerns I could possibly have a concussion that would go untreated. What happened?
