What causes a Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde situation with a Health Care Provider

I went to the Urgent Care today to see about a head injury I sustained at work. A nurse practitioner saw me and she was so kind as she spoke to me and examined me initially. When she left she said she was going to put in an order for me to have a CT scan. She was gone for a long time and when she returned she was like a different person. She was incredibly rude and spoke loudly and aggressively to me as I asked questions calmly, in a soft voice. She left saying one thing and returns saying I would need to go to the ER if I think I need a CT. She then abruptly walks away from me, and it was as if I needed to get out right away or else I was trespassing. I left with unanswered questions and concerns I could possibly have a concussion that would go untreated. What happened?
