[Question - Other] Can a DME provider transfer a prescription to a pharmacy?

If I have a prescription for a continuous glucose monitors (cgm) and sensors and through a durable medical equipment (DME) provider, and my insurance no longer covers CGMs under DME, doesy provider need to write me a new prescription at the pharmacy or will DME be able to transfer the Rx to a pharmacy?

[Question - Other] Does a Community Health Center provide the same level of quality care as a hospital or local suburban practice?

I live in the suburbs but work in a major US city. I started to see a new PCP near where I park for work in an enclave just outside downtown. Though affiliated with a major health system, I just realized the doctor I see is at a Community Health Center, which in the US means it usually has the designation as a lower-income healthcare option for the underinsured. I’m not actually a resident of the community it is supporting. Wondering if I’d be getting a better level of care just seeing a PCP at a large practice in the suburbs and/or the big academic hospitals downtown than at the Community Health Center. Thanks!

[Question - Other] Useful smartwatch apps for monitoring health?

Delete if not allowed 😅 Ive posted this to a smaller subreddit but I figured id post it here as well to see if someone here could possibly help as well. TL;DR @ bottom

Hi, my mom was recently diagnosed with epilepsy that apparently shes had since childhood and no one knew. Her seizures are becoming more frequent and she cant tell when they’re coming or notify anyone of it. I got her a smart watch so I could use a seizure warning app that allegedly notifies emergency contacts and calls paramedics if no one’s responding but the app has horrible reviews ( I totally forgot to check the actual app reviews and got my reviews from online, my mistake) and now I’ve hit a wall. Is there any good apps that have some of these functionality’s? I just want an app that will quickly give me her location, alert me if it detects anything abnormal like falls, or elevated heart rate and possibly alert paramedics or someone when im not around because she only lives with children and i have multiple jobs plus college and cant be with her all the time.

TL;DR I need an app for a smartwatch that will possibly detect abnormal heart rate, alert paramedics or emergency contacts, send gps location to emergency contacts and send alerts if the wearer has fallen
