I’ve never used virtual care before, and I’m hoping to learn from your experience. Could you share what kinds of situations or illnesses are suitable for virtual care?
Also, what happens if the diagnosis requires testing. For example, blood work, a COVID test, or a strep throat test? How does that process work when using virtual care?
Lastly, I have a question about billing. If I do a virtual care visit and the provider then asks me to get a strep test that’s only available at an urgent care center in my area, would I be billed separately for both the virtual care visit and the urgent care visit, plus the test itself?
