I took my Dad to the ER as he had symptoms of heart attack. They admitted him to do tests for heart attack. Then moved him to a hospital to do further tests. Then he ended up needing a triple bypass. We moved to ANOTHER hospital. They’ve kept him since Wednesday night. We were told surgery would be Thursday or Friday. It’s now Saturday and no one knows when surgery will be.
All this time he’s been kept at the hospital. He is uninsured, and frustrated since we are just now racking up more bills for medication for extra days and more loss of wage.
We’re afraid to take him home in case he gets another heart attack, he’s currently on heparin.
They don’t do this to make more money right? I’m just frustrated because everyone is giving me different things and I asked for a social worker 3 times and I have yet to speak to one.
