Prescription medication fell and broke during drive through pick-up

Flu med for my son in a glass bottle. Had to reach into the back of the dispenser and it fell out of my hand and shattered on the ground. According to Walgreens I need a new script from the physician and insurance WONT cover it. Literally 5x the price of the initial prescription. Is there any work around for this?
