I have so many problems and getting basic healthcare is impossible, and this is despite having good insurance. Even getting access to a doctor is impossible when every doctor has waiting lists that take like a year. And I live in San Diego, not some tiny rural area, for people who want to attack me on that.
And even when you do get a doctor, most doctors don’t give a flying fuck too. They are busy trying to get through as many patients as possible, and you have at most 5 minutes to talk to them. Then they push you out and you get slapped with a $500 bill. Even if you have all your deductible paid off, your insurance is run by assholes and don’t give a flying fuck about breaking their own policies so they can steal more of your money.
And when you are sick and frustrated, you can’t escape this system. You need to keep finding a doctor that works for you, but you still have to navigate this broken system. Wasting more money and time. I have literally spent THOUSANDs of dollars on my healthcare when my actual health continues to decline. I fucking hate healthcare
It is so frustrating how no one gives a flying fuck about how broken the healthcare system is. Most people’s experience of seeing a doctor is just seeing them if you have a cut or an infection. They never experienced the hell of being bounced between different doctors when you have a more complex issue.
