My dad is terminallly ill and I've been caring for him 24x7 for the past two years. During this time I've discovered just how complex, comvoluted and at times utterly unfair the US healthcare system is. There have been multiple occasions when my dad was 100% entitled to a certain serviice, test or medication, but he was denied from getting his needs met due to red tape or a silly technicality. I'm sure many of you have had similiar experiences. So what are some tips and tricks you have learned to make the US healthcare system work for you? Thanks for sharing.
