How to measure lung vital capacity using a balloon

1. Get a spherical balloon (or as close as you can get to)
   
2. inhale as much as you can and blow all of it into the balloon
   
3. measure the circumference
   
4. input it to this website here 5. compare your results here

does anybody see anything wrong measuring with this? maybe air getting compressed (approx 2%)?
