My primary care doctor keeps sending me referrals to places that don't take my insurance.
Does my primary doctor check to see if the place they referred me to takes my insurance or am I supposed to call my insurance company every single time to see if it's covered?
I'm just trying to see a psychiatrist for medication management and a psychologist for talk therapy.
