I recently went to an urgent care need me for some pain relievers and other meds to soothe a pinched nerve. I asked the receptionist if they took my insurance and if they were in-network. She said they do, and that they were in-network. I just saw that my insurance provider denied my claim, saying it was from an out-of-network provider, and that I have to pay $326 out-of-pocket. I'm going to appeal after talking to the provider tomorrow to understand how this could have happened, but does anyone have any other suggestions for addressing this so I don't unfairly lose out on $326.
