a couple months back my girlfriend (19) went to the ER because she had a migraine. I told her it was not worth it for something like that. She claimed she had “insurance”. from her mom plan. During the time at the ER, they informed her she didn’t have the insurance she thought she did and a couple months later, a 10,000 bill came.
She is absolutely freaked out and i’m not the happiest either. Is there anything that can be done so she doesn’t have to get stuck with this bill. I told her multiple times what could happen if we go to the ER and she didn’t listen but I still wanna help her as much as I can.
