Follow-up mammogram and ultrasound cost - any alternatives?

I got called back for a follow up after yesterday's screening, and I discovered before the visit that Aetna doesn't consider them preventative so the procedures will cost $1000 and $900 respectively because I haven't met my $4000 annual deductible. I am pissed. I pay $500 a month for health insurance that sucks. Are there any alternatives? Will clinics do low-cost screenings if you have health insurance? I am in the Boston area.
