Two days ago, my father received mail from our insurance company about the medication that's being covered by insurance. I was able to discreetly seek psychiatry services and buy medication at my pharmacy, but this mail got to me. I just got a 90 day fill for lexapro a couple weeks ago, but my father demanded it and took it from me. It wasn't any use explaining to him why I needed it; he just took it. I hate the side effects of lexapro, but I need it to function when school starts.
What do I do from here? I just registered for USPS' informed delivery to be alerted of any incoming mail. Should I ask for another refill and buy the lexapro under the insurance or pay out of pocket? I don't really mind doing that -- I have a job now, I just don't want my parents finding out that I'm taking any prescribed medication.
